FARGO — The driver of a stolen vehicle ran away from it after crashing on Interstate 29 early Tuesday, June 2, in Fargo, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported about 12:40 a.m. near the 19th Avenue North exit.
The vehicle, a GMC Yukon, was abandoned when troopers arrived at the crash scene. It appeared the vehicle was northbound when it crashed into the cable barrier in the median of the interstate.
Troopers learned the vehicle was reported stolen hours earlier in Fargo, the patrol said. Despite searching for the driver, authorities did not find them.
