MOORHEAD — An 18-year-old from Blaisdell, N.D., was injured when his 1995 GMC Sierra went off Interstate 94 in Moorhead and hit a sign on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at about 7:15 p.m.

The Minnesota State Patrol said Hunter Reed Hines was taken to Sanford Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. Hines was headed east when he slid off the road.

Road conditions were snowy and icy at the time of the crash.

Several other crashes were reported in the Fargo-Moorhead metro area throughout the day as snow fell starting at about 11 a.m.

Streets were covered by snow with icy spots in some locations.
