SELFRIDGE, N.D. — A 20-year-old man died in a one-car rollover in foggy conditions on Thursday, Jan. 7, about 8 a.m. on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said the man from Cass City, Mich., was negotiating a left-hand curve in his Jeep Cherokee when he lost control and went into the ditch on Highway 6 about seven miles north of Selfridge. The vehicle slid into the bottom of the ditch and began to roll, coming to rest on the highway's shoulder.

The road was wet and there was light fog at the time of the crash.

The driver, who wasn't wearing a seat belt, was ejected and died at the scene, NDHP said.
