FARGO — The driver of a Saturn Vue was pronounced dead after hitting the concrete median around 3 p.m. Sunday, April 18, on Interstate 29 just south of Main Avenue in Fargo.
According to a report by the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the SUV, driven by a 45-year-old man, was traveling south on I-29 when it struck the concrete median and came to a stop.
CPR was performed on the driver, and attempts were made to revive him with an automated external defibrillator. FM Ambulance transported the driver to Sanford Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
At this time, it is believed that the driver suffered a medical condition that caused the crash, the report says.
The crash is still under investigation.
