ALEXANDER, N.D. — A 34-year-old man died in a rollover crash which took place Thursday, June 3, in far western North Dakota.

Jared Walters of Sidney, Mont., died in the crash on Highway 68 at approximately 2 p.m. when his vehicle rolled over multiple times after drifting onto a shoulder, the North Dakota Highway Patrol reported via news release.

His wife, Jamie, 29, was also injured, while two juvenile passengers escaped injury.

Walters was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to the Sidney Health Center where he passed away. His wife was taken by air ambulance to Trinity Hospital in Minot.

The crash occurred near Alexander, N.D., which is roughly 40 miles southwest of Williston.

The patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
