WATFORD CITY, N.D. — Authorities have released the name of a 22-year-old motorist killed in a two-vehicle crash 15 miles north of Watford City.
Colbey Allen Bradley, of Watford City, was taken to the McKenzie County Hospital where he died from his injuries, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The crash happened about 7:10 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at North Dakota Highway 1806 and McKenzie County Road 10.
A 2017 Ford pickup truck, driven by Bryant J. Faulkner, was northbound on Highway 1806, and a 2005 GMC Yukon, driven by Daniel Ethan Conlogue, was traveling north behind it, the patrol said.
The Ford slowed down to turn right onto County Road 10 and the GMC rear-ended the Ford, the patrol said.
Bradley, the motorist killed, was a passenger in the GMC. It's unclear if he or the drivers wore seat belts at the time of the crash, the patrol said.
Faulkner, 34, of Watford City, suffered minor injuries and was taken to McKenzie County Hospital. Conlogue, 20, of Watford City, suffered minor injuries but was not taken to the hospital.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
