Bullets fly through Moorhead apartment

MOORHEAD — The bullets blew out a third story window at the College Park Apartments by Romkey Park.

It happened just before 10 p.m. Friday night.

Moorhead police say they got several calls about people hearing gunshots and a loud fight.

They say several shots were fired through the window.

It's unclear if they came from inside or outside the apartment, which some neighbors thought was empty.

Nobody was shot.

One person was detained but not arrested.

Police believe everyone involved knew each other.

"Little scared about it, don't want to be the victim of a stray bullet," said Tim Solle who lives nearby.

No motive for the shooting has been released.

Neighbors say the apartment has a reputation for drug activity.
