Car crashes into local Moorhead cemetery

MOOREHAD — A man is in the hospital after he drove through the fence of a Moorhead cemetery, Wednesday Sept. 9.

The Moorhead Police Department said at around 1:40 p.m., 31-year-old Stuart McNulty-Tovee suffered a medical incident while driving south on Eighth Street South causing him to veer off the road and plow through the fence of Prairie Homes Cemetery, near Concordia College.

Moorhead police reported that McNulty-Tovee was conscious when they arrived at the scene. He was taken to Essentia Health in Fargo for a medical evaluation.

No one else was hurt and no other vehicles were involved.
