MOORHEAD — Clay County is relocating to the new Government Center Monday, March 29. Services provided in the facility will include Assessor, Recorder, Auditor, Treasurer, Planning and Zoning, GIS, Human Resources and Central Administration offices.
Renovations to the 18,851-square-foot building at 3510 12th Ave. S. created two public lobbies which will allow for adequate social distancing, with multiple individualized customer service windows to ensure a safe environment for citizens and staff.
Services offered at the Government Center include: Real Estate Recording and Research, Birth and Death Records, Marriage Licenses, Marriage Certificates, Notary Filing, Marriage Credentials Filing, Property Tax Payment, Building Permits and to Review Property Information.
Citizens will have access to all departments without an appointment from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
