DILWORTH, Minn. — A Mahnomen woman is in police custody after police say she was found at a Dilworth home with meth, a revolver and a ballistic vest.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office said in a press release that Ashley Jo Hanson, 28, from Mahnomen was wanted out of Mahnomen and Stearns County for crimes related to methamphetamine, firearm possession, assault and more.

On Tuesday, July 23rd the Lakes to River Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, Metro Area Street Crimes Unit and Clay County Sheriff's Office discovered that Hanson was staying at a residence at 25th Street NW in Dilworth, according to the release.

The sheriff's office says a search warrant found Hanson, 1 gram of meth, a loaded .45 revolver and a ballistic vest at the Dilworth residence. She is now being held at Clay County Jail for the open warrants; the investigation is still ongoing.

In 2017, Hanson was found guilty of felony robbery in Becker County.
