FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – A Fergus Falls man has been arrested after allegedly giving a suspect in a high-speed police chase a ride to Fargo.
The chase happened Saturday afternoon, July 7, in Fergus Falls. And police there say 44-year-old Shilo Buchanan drove the chase suspect, 34-year-old Kristopher Wilkins, to Fargo on Sunday, July 8.
Buchanan was arrested Wednesday, July 11, in Fergus Falls on suspicion of aiding and abetting an offender and first-degree controlled substance possession, Fergus Falls police said in a news release.
Police said Buchanan had about a pound of methamphetamine with a street value of $9,000.
Wilkins, of Fargo, led officers on a 6-mile vehicle pursuit through Fergus Falls on Saturday, and later fled on foot, police said. Fergus Falls police are working with the Moorhead and Fargo police departments to find Wilkins.
