ABERDEEN, S.D. — A 51-year-old Mandan, N.D., man faces a minimum of 30 years in prison and up to life after a jury found him guilty of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and aggravated incest.

Ronnie White Mountain was found guilty in a three-day jury trial in federal court in Aberdeen.

In the trial, prosecutors said White Mountain traveled periodically from his home in Morris, Minn., to McLaughlin, S.D., along with his daughter, to stay with family on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation from January of 2010 to December of 2012.

After a night of drinking on one of the trips, White Mountain came back to the reservation home and sexually assaulted a family member.

The case was investigated by the FBI and the Stevens County (Minn.) Sheriff's Department.
