FARGO — Wyatt Scott Kukert entered not guilty pleas to gross sexual imposition charges on Tuesday, Oct. 16.
Investigators believe the incident occurred in March of this year. And according to the Fargo police, Kukert admitted to having sexual contact with the two girls before his arrest.
During his arraignment on Friday, June 21, the judge set his bail at $200,000 cash or bond and prohibited him from contacting the alleged victims.
"There were no immediate signs of physical injury to the two girls. They are currently safe with family and will receive follow-up care from the Child Advocacy Center," police said in a Facebook post.
The Brookings Police Department in South Dakota notified Fargo police about the case, and the two departments worked with the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation to collect evidence and find the suspect in Fargo.
Kukert is due back in court next month.
