WEST FARGO — The driver involved in a vehicle crash that killed a Fargo man has plead not guilty to his charges.
Daniel Dal Pozzo, 34, of West Fargo is facing felony charges of vehicular homicide and misdemeanor charges of willful damage and driving under suspension, according to court documents. He plead not guilty to all of his charges on Wednesday, November 13.
According to court reports, the crash happened on June 22, 2019 when a car driven by Dal Pozzo went into the wrong lane and hit several parked cars that were unoccupied, killing passenger his passenger, Johnny Grey, 38.
A search warrant obtained by authorities took two blood samples from Dal Pozzo and found that his blood-alcohol level was .227% the first time and .212% the second time. The legal limit is .08%.
He is scheduled to be back in court on January 16 for a felony dispositional conference.
