FARGO — Police here are searching for a man they say hit another man with his SUV after rear-ending his vehicle in the Fargo-Moorhead Visitors Center parking lot.

Around 5 p.m. on Nov. 22, police were dispatched to a report of a hit-and-run crash at 2001 44th St. S., where a man had crashed his SUV into a stopped vehicle, according to a Facebook post by police.

The suspect exited his vehicle and yelled at the victim before getting back into his car and driving around the visitor's center parking lot before driving directly at the victim, who was outside of his car dialing 911, police said.

The suspect struck the victim with his vehicle and fled the scene, according to the post. Police did not describe any possible injuries to the victim.

Police describe the suspect as a large, bald white man and said he was driving a black or blue Ford SUV with North Dakota license plates.
