EAST GRAND FORKS — Police arrested one person and are searching for a driver involved in a pursuit through the streets of Grand Forks and East Grand Forks Friday morning, Jan 10.

Officers in attempted to pull over a maroon Ford Five Hundred at Second Avenue North and North Washington Street in Grand Forks around 1:34 a.m.

Grand Forks police pursued the vehicle over the Kennedy Bridge into East Grand Forks. The vehicle then traveled back into Grand Forks on Demers Avenue.

Officers followed the vehicle onto Belmont Avenue before calling off the pursuit.

Police later found the Five Hundred abandoned on the 2400 block of Estabrook Drive and set up a perimeter. During the search, officers found a passenger from the vehicle, 24-year-old Hannah Azure.

Officer arrested Azure for possession of Methamphetamine Paraphernalia and Hindering. She's being held at the Grand Forks County Correctional Center.

Police are still working to locate the driver the vehicle.
