FARGO — Police here have released surveillance photos of a masked person they say robbed a Main Avenue liquor store on Halloween.

Late on Oct. 31, a man entered Royal Liquors, 1606 Main Avenue, threatened two employees with a gun and stole an "undisclosed amount of cash," the Fargo Police Department said.

The three blurry video stills released Tuesday, Feb. 11, show a person wearing a white mask, a black hooded sweatshirt with a white logo on the front and dark pants.

The night of the robbery, officers tried to track the suspect down using a police dog but were unsuccessful.

When police first reported the robbery in November, they described the suspect as a black man standing 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall.
