FERTILE, Minn. — Two men were in custody Thursday night, Feb. 20, after northwest Minnesota authorities seized meth, marijuana and cash while serving a search warrant on a Polk County residence earlier in the week.

Police found 23.4 grams of meth, 3.4 grams of marijuana and $1,449 in cash while conducting their search of a house in Fertile on Tuesday, according to a news release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

Brandon Craig Ambuehl, 27, and Matthew Travis Beerman, 31, were arrested and face charges including conspiracy to sell a controlled substance in the first degree.

Both are being held in the Northwest Regional Corrections Center in Crookston.

Fertile is about 40 miles southeast of Grand Forks.
