ROTHSAY, Minn. — A woman is in custody after authorities said she led them on a high-speed chase in Rothsay, Minnesota on Wednesday, July 1.

According to a release from the Wilkin County Sheriff's Office, the pursuit started when the driver fled from a deputy during a traffic stop. The chase went onto MTNH 108 and I-94 before ending on MNTH 34 in Barnesville.

The chase spanned 15 miles with average speeds of 90 miles per hour. Authorities used spike strips and a PIT maneuver to ultimately disable the vehicle, the release says.

Two occupants were initially arrested but one was later released without any charges, according to the sheriff's office.

23-year-old Sage Debbie-Scott Pherson-Alley remains in custody and is facing a plethora of charges including fleeing police in a vehicle, possession of drugs and possession of ammo/any firearm.
