JAMESTOWN, N.D. — The Jamestown Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in learning the identity of a woman found dead near Two Rivers Inn East in Jamestown Friday.

Officers were called to the scene about 11: 15 a.m. to the report of a dead body.

Officers discovered a yet to be identified female deceased in the parking lot. The woman is believed to be in her late 40’s, approximately 5’5” tall, 150-160 pounds with reddish-blonde hair.

While a cause of death has not been determined, Jamestown Police Chief Scott Edinger said there is no reason for the public to fear for its safety.

Edinger said no additional information releases are planned in the case but did ask members of the public to call 252-2414 if they have any information regarding the case.
