WEST FARGO — A juvenile was hospitalized after they were the unintended victim of a shooting on Sunday, March 21, according to the West Fargo Police Department.
On Sunday night, police responded to a report of a shooting around 8:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of 11th Avenue East where they found the juvenile with a gunshot wound, police said. The juvenile's name and age have not been released.
An investigation found that the shooting was not random and involved a property owner being targeted because of an altercation earlier on Sunday, according to police.

The shooting remains under investigation, and police continue to follow up on leads and conduct interviews.
