FARGO — Fargo police determined Thursday evening, June 3, that a suspicious device found outside of an apartment building at 2401 33rd Ave. S. was not dangerous.
Police evacuated the building and closed off up to 100 yards surrounding the building after the device was found outside an entrance.
They also closed 33rd Avenue South from 23rd Street to 25th Street and 22nd Street from 32nd Avenue to 33rd Avenue South.
The Red River Valley bomb squad was brought in to deal with the suspicious device and at about 6:10 p.m. Thursday it was announced the device was not a danger to the public.
All roads that had been closed were reopened.
