MOORHEAD — A man arrested and thought to be connected to a stabbing Tuesday night, June 8, near the Grand Inn in south Moorhead has been released.
Police responded to the 800 block of Belsly Boulevard shortly after 10:30 p.m. when dispatchers received a call reporting that a man had been stabbed in the stomach, according to Moorhead Police Sgt. Joel Voxland.
When officers arrived on scene they found a man with a superficial cut to his hand.
He refused medical treatment on scene.
Officers later located the original suspect in a car on 20th Street South in Moorhead and arrested him. He has since been released, police said Wednesday afternoon.
The incident is still under investigation and there appears to be no threat to the public, police said.
