FARGO — The Red River Regional SWAT Team helped Fargo police arrest two men in a drug investigation early Wednesday, August 4.
Officers briefly blocked off a portion of Fourth Avenue South and an adjacent alley near the WDAY television station around 7 a.m. as the Fargo Police Department's Narcotics Unit served a search warrant.
The investigation involved the Cass County Drug Task Force and the United States Drug Enforcement Administration.
SWAT members used flashbangs as they searched the building and located a stolen firearm along with drug paraphernalia, according to police.
During the search 27-year-old Bradley Steven Moderow and 38-year-old Michael Merlyn Mead Jr., both from Fargo, were arrested for violating probation.
Police said both men may face additional charges as the investigation continues.
