FARGO — A 29-year-old has been sentenced to two years in prison for starting a dumpster fire that damaged a downtown Fargo restaurant.

Nathan Curtiss Ouren of Fargo pleaded guilty Monday, Sept. 13, in Cass County District Court to a felony count of endangering by fire or explosion and a misdemeanor count of criminal trespass.

Judge Susan Bailey handed down the sentence the same day in connection to the June 14 fire that caused $5,000 in damage to the Fryn' Pan restaurant at 300 Main Ave.
