SUV stolen from Fargo garage found in driveway miles away

FARGO — An SUV reported stolen in south Fargo Tuesday night, March 19, was found in a driveway at a home miles away on Wednesday morning, according to the Fargo Police Department.

Police said the vehicle, which had the keys inside, was stolen from the owner's garage in the Woodhaven neighborhood, just west of Microsoft's Fargo campus.

On Wednesday morning, a person in Fargo's Hawthorne neighborhood reported to police that an SUV had appeared on the person's driveway. The caller told police they did not own the vehicle.

It turned out to be the SUV stolen Tuesday night, and it was returned to the owner.

Police say there are no suspects in the incident.
