DAZEY, N.D. — A house in Dazey, about 30 miles north of Valley City, was destroyed by a fire that started late Friday, March 1.
Firefighters were called to the home at 11:55 p.m. Friday and freezing equipment forced them to stay on scene until about 8 a.m. Saturday morning, the fire department said in a Monday news release.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were an estimated $80,000 in damages, and the house was ruled a total loss.
Dazey was assisted by Wimbledon Fire, Sanborn Fire, Hannaford Fire and the Barnes County Sheriff's Office.
