FARGO — Students and staff from programs at the Fargo Public School District's Agassiz building showcased world cultures at their sixth annual Agassiz Variety Show Monday, April 15.
Over 50 languages are spoken by students in the building, and two shows with ten acts each highlighted different cultures. Both students and staff performed songs, dances and skits, and each act had a unique cultural spin to it.
"I love the cultural dances and the songs. Even though I don't understand a word of it, it's really a lot of fun and the crowd gets into it," said Ila Hegge, an administrative assistant at Woodrow Wilson High School, one of the programs in the Agassiz building.
The audience was made up of students and staff from 14 different programs at the school.
