MOORHEAD — Students in Moorhead Public Schools are gearing up to start online classes on Monday because of the coronavirus pandemic. All this week, students at Moorhead High were assigned a day to come into the school to pick up Chromebooks and other learning materials from teachers. They were also asked to clean out their lockers in case they won't return to the building this year.
Brenda Richman, executive director of community engagement and public relations for the district, said the distribution is going really well.
"We are able to process families more quickly than we anticipated while still maintaining CDC social distancing guidelines, so we have moved Friday parents up to today and tomorrow (Wednesday and Thursday) to help all students get their distance learning materials more quickly."
