FARGO — Students at Carl Ben Eielson Middle School got to enjoy a little reward for giving back.

The students were able to mess the mugs of nine teachers with whip-cream pies.

The school concluded their annual Coin War, raising nearly $3,200 in two weeks for the Great Plains Food Bank.

They normally host a food drive, but changed gears due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The rest of the student body got to watch the event virtually, at home or in the classroom.
