FARGO — A man was arrested Friday, Jan. 3, after Fargo police say he tried to flee from an officer investigating a report of an assault inside a restaurant.
An officer responded to the Perkins at 1220 36th St. S. shortly before 3 a.m.
When the officer arrived, the suspect was trying to leave in a vehicle, allegedly nearly hitting the officer and an employee of the restaurant, police said.
Officers were able to locate the suspect, identified as Tin Thanh Nguyen, 21, of Fargo.
He was booked into the Cass County Jail on suspicion of DUI and aggravated reckless endangerment. Authorities say he may also be charged with simple assault, possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia.
