Fargo police investigate gunshots in area southwest of West Acres mall

A report of gunshots came in just before 10 a.m. Friday.

FARGO — Police responded to a report of gunshots in the 4300 block of 18th Avenue South in Fargo just before 10 a.m. Friday, June 11.

When officers arrived on scene they found shell casings in the roadway, according to a news release. It is not known if anyone was injured.

The area gunshots were reported in is a little over a half-mile southwest of the West Acres mall. The 4300 block is in the area of Rabanus Park.

Police did not have a suspect or vehicle description Friday morning. They ask anyone with information on the incident to text a tip with the keyword FARGOPD to 847411.
