Fargo man injured in motorcycle crash

FARGO — A Fargo man suffered serious injuries in a motorcycle crash in south Fargo Sunday, June 19.

According to a report released by the North Dakota Highway Patrol:

Luke P. Schmitz, 30, was westbound in the 2600 block of Fifth Avenue South when the motorcycle he was riding left the road and hit a curb.

Schmitz, who wasn't wearing helmet, fell off the motorcycle and suffered a serious injury, the Highway Patrol said.

He was taken by ambulance to the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

The crash remains under investigation.
