Fargo police announce sex offender's new address

Ethan James Bendickson was convicted in 2016 in North Dakota's federal court of abusive sexual contact of a minor.

FARGO — The Fargo Police Department is notifying the public that registered sex offender Ethan James Bendickson is now living at Centre Inc., 123 15th St. N.

The North Dakota Sex Offender Risk Assessment Committee has deemed him as having a high risk of reoffending. He is a lifetime registrant.

Bendickson, 36, is 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Bendickson was convicted in 2016 in North Dakota's federal court of abusive sexual contact of a minor. The female victim was under the age of 15 and was known to him, authorities said.

Video showed two men, who have not been identified, approaching Angel Javier Milete near the Chase Bank entrance before punching him in downtown Fargo, according to a criminal complaint. Milete retreated, drew a handgun from his pants and fired the weapon multiple times at the two men as they fled, the complaint said.
