Fargo police investigating unattended death

FARGO — The Fargo Police Department is investigating an unattended death after locating a man deceased near the 50 block of North Broadway in Fargo on Sunday, Aug. 14.

According to a news release from the Fargo Police Department, at 8:42 a.m., a medical assistance call came in and dispatchers sent the Fargo Police Department, Fargo Fire Department and Sanford Ambulance.

Upon arriving on the scene, emergency personnel located a deceased male on the east side of a building. No information related to the individual's identity is presently available, the release said.

Results from the autopsy are pending and the cause of death is currently being investigated by Fargo police.
