FARGO — The Fargo Police Department is informing the public that the location of a high-risk sex offender is unknown as of Friday, July 1.

Ethan James Bendickson is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound Native American with brown eyes and black hair.

Bendickson, 36, was convicted in U.S. Federal Court of abusive sexual contact of a minor in October 2016. The female victim was under age 15 and was known to him. He is a lifetime registrant.

A warrant has been issued for his arrest in Cass County, Fargo police said. Anyone who locates Bendickson is asked not to approach him and to call 911 with details of his location, direction of travel, clothing and anyone who is with him.

On May 18, Fargo police said Bendickson was living at Centre Inc., 123 15th St. N.
