FARGO — Fargo Public Schools has begun the nomination process for its annual award series honoring staff members for serving students with excellence.
Awards open for nominations include: Teacher of the Year, Administrator of the Year and Support Staff of the Year.
"Recipients will be surprised with their honors in the spring of 2022," said district spokesman Adam Watts in a press release.
Nominations, instructions, forms and process details for each award will be received online only from Monday, Jan. 17 through Friday Jan. 28.
The Teacher of the Year honoree will be forwarded to the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction as a candidate for the North Dakota Teacher of the Year award.

The 2021 recipients were:
- Teacher of the Year: Jessica Magnuson, Carl Ben Eielson Middle School Literary Partner.
- Administrator of the Year: Andy Dahlen, North High School Principal.
- Support Staff of the Year: Brenda Fischer, District Absence Manager.
