HARWOOD, N.D. — The North Dakota Department of Transportation is preparing for lane closures involved with painting at four Interstate 29 interchanges.
The Harwood interchange at I-29 mile marker 72 and the Amenia separation at mile marker 75 will have traffic control markers installed Friday, April 14, with lane closures beginning Monday, April 17.
The Mayville interchange at mile marker 110 and Buxton interchange at mile marker 117 will begin closures around the middle of May.
Each site will have traffic reduced to one lane between the on and off ramps, with the speed limit at 40 mph where work is taking place and 55 mph where work is not taking place.
Lane width restrictions will be down to 16 feet of horizontal clearance, and concrete barriers will be placed to protect work areas. Drivers are asked to plan ahead and slow down in these work zones.
