Local chapter of the North Country Trail Association to host urban hike and meeting

The Dakota Prairie Chapter (DPC) of the North Country Trail Association (NCT) is hosting a meeting at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10 at the Fargo Public Library, located at 102 3rd St. N.

FARGO — The Dakota Prairie Chapter (DPC) of the North Country Trail Association (NCT) is hosting an urban hike and meeting on Thursday, Nov. 10 at the Fargo Public Library, 102 3rd St. N.

The chapter will kick-off the event with an urban hike that will depart from the library at 5:15 p.m., with participating hikers returning around 6 p.m.

A short program will follow that will recognize the group’s 2022 award winners and trail maintainers as well as acknowledge the Trail Town designations for Lisbon and Abercrombie.

Participating individuals will learn more about the group and how to get involved.

The meeting is free and open to the public.
