Man arrested for assault after fight in downtown Fargo

The two involved mutually agreed to the fight, according to Fargo police.

FARGO — One man is in the Cass County Jail after a fight between two people led to an assault late Thursday night, Sept. 22.

According to police, officers were nearby the Spicy Pie restaurant, 322 Broadway N, when they heard and saw an argument between two people.

The two mutually agreed to start a fight, which led to one man repeatedly kicking the other in the head, police said.

Police then arrested Paul Jones, 47, of Fargo, who's being held in the Cass County Jail on an assault charge.

The victim was seen by paramedics on scene, but he declined to get treated.
