Memorial Day closures for Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo

In all three cities, the city offices and libraries will be closed Monday.

FARGO — In observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 30, several city and county offices and services in Fargo, Moorhead and West Fargo will be closed or altered.

In all three cities, the city offices and libraries will be closed Monday. Also closed Monday are Fargo Cass Public Health, MATBUS offices, Cass County offices and Clay County offices.

MATBUS and MAT paratransit will have no services running Monday.

The regular Fargo City Commission meeting will be held Tuesday, May 31.

Monday's garbage and recycling will be picked up Tuesday in all three cities, with waste collection on the regular schedule for the rest of the week. Residents should set trash out by 4 a.m. to ensure it is picked up, as the altered schedule could cause early or delayed collection.


Fargo's sanitary landfill, the Househould Hazardous Waste Facility, Moorhead's Garbage Transfer Station and Clay County solid waste facilities will be closed Monday.
