FARGO — On Friday, June 2, the Salvation Army will be partnering with Sandy's Donuts and Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre for National Donut Day to honor front line workers and commemorate The Salvation Army’s part in providing donuts to soldiers during World War I.
The event will be held in front of Sandy's Donuts on Broadway, and free donuts will be available from 8 to 10 a.m., The Salvation Army said in a release.
From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., The Salvation Army and FMCT will deliver donuts to local first responders and community partners, the release said.
The Salvation Army encourages everyone to join in the celebration and honor veterans and first responders.
