FARGO — A car parked behind Kroll's Diner was destroyed in a fire Sunday, Nov. 10.
The Fargo Fire Department was called to the scene at 1:58 p.m. and found a car in flames parked behind the diner at 1033 45th St. S.
The car was parked next to another vehicle, firefighters said, but it was moved before the fire could spread.
Nobody was hurt and only the car was damaged, they said.
Battalion Chief Joe Mangin said it is a 2017 car but could not confirm its make and model because the damage was so severe. He estimated damage at about $17,000 based on the year.

"If somebody does notice that there's a car on fire, immediately call 911," Mangin said. "Start the process and get us en route."
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
