Fire destroys motor home in Richland County

RICHLAND COUNTY, N.D. — A motor home was completely destroyed Sunday, June 30, after catching fire on Interstate 29.

The Richland County Sheriff's Office said it received a call about the fire along I-29 between Hankinson and Great Bend around 7:08 p.m. Sunday.

Fred Bush Jr., 48, told officers he pulled over after encountering mechanical and electrical issues with his motor home.

He called 911 after he saw flames coming out of the vehicle. Great Bend and Hankinson firefighters put out the fire.

The motor home was a complete loss, according to the sheriff's office. No one was hurt.
