WEST FARGO — A garage is a total loss after an early morning fire Thursday, June 4, in West Fargo.

Firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire just before 4 a.m. at 519 Third Ave. NW after a passerby noticed flames coming from the garage.

That person knocked on the door of the house to let the people inside know.

All three people who lived in the home made it out safely.

Firefighters said the situation was under control by 4:30 a.m.

The garage and a van nearby were destroyed. The house also suffered smoke damage.
