FARGO - A second fire in less than a month damaged a building at the former Mid America Steel plant at 92 NP Ave.
A train passing through downtown Fargo reported the fire shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday, April 11.
Fargo Fire Department Battalion Chief Jason Ness said the flames heavily damaged a 15-foot by 20-foot building.
Fire crews had the flames under control in under 15 minutes and the fire was completely extinguished in half an hour.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
On March 22nd, the Mid America Steel building in downtown Fargo caught fire and burned for several hours.
Investigators found that fire was intentionally set and later located several persons of interest involved.
