FARGO — First responders were at the scene of a structure fire at an apartment building in south Fargo on Monday evening, June 14.
The fire was reported just before 4 p.m. at the Cedar Pointe Apartments, 3325 17th Ave. S., near the Prairiewood Golf Course,
There were no reported injuries but a pet had to be removed from a neighboring unit, according to Fire Marshal Ryan Erickson.
The flames were knocked down in about 30 minutes and crews believe it damaged the decks, interior and attic of both apartment units, Erickson said.
The Fargo Fire Department closed off 17th Avenue from 32nd Street to 34th Street as they fought the flames. It wasn't immediately clear when it would reopen.
