MOORHEAD - Firefighters were at the scene of a duplex fire in a north Moorhead neighborhood.

Red River Regional Dispatch first received the call for a fire at 401 17th St. S. at 7:19 a.m. Wednesday, July 14.

Moorhead Fire Department Battalion Chief David Conrad says crews were able to knock down the flames in about 10-15 minutes.

Three residents from the 2-unit duplex are now displaced, according to Conrad.

The cause of the fire, along with the cost of damages, are currently under investigation, Conrad said.
