FARGO — City fire officials are investigating the cause of a trailer fire at a north Fargo mobile home park Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 6.

The fire was reported around 3 p.m. at 1212 Monte Carlo Drive N. in the Riviera Heights Mobile Home Park.

According to Battalion Chief Chris Rasmussen, the fire started underneath the mobile home, causing smoke damage.

Two people in the mobile home were able to get out safely with no reported injuries, as were three dogs. One dog had to be rescued by firefighters.

The American Red Cross assisted both tenants who were displaced with temporary shelter. A damage estimate was not yet available.
