FARGO - The city of Fargo has one open spot on its parking commission, and metro residents are encouraged to apply.
For those who are interested in applying, visit fargond.gov/city-government/boards-commissions/getting-involved. Meetings are held at 9 a.m. the last Thursday of each month. The average commitment to the commission is four to eight hours per month.
Members of the parking commission serve as an advisory board to the City Commission on parking issues in the downtown area. Other member duties include attend public hearings regarding downtown parking, evaluate and review staff reports and participate in committee assignments representing the parking commission on other city or metro-wide boards.
